Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival: October 2026

A true fall tradition in our area, the Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival in east Manatee County delivers everything you want from a harvest celebration: hayrides, pony rides, a Pioneer Trades Village with blacksmiths and weavers, live music, and of course a giant pumpkin patch. The craft show features local artisans, and the food vendors serve up classic festival fare with a Florida twist. It is worth the short drive north, especially for families with young children. Fruitville Grove Pumpkin Festival: Weekends in October

Closer to Sarasota, Fruitville Grove offers a more intimate pumpkin festival experience with a farmers' market, pumpkin patch, children's costume contests, and the Torres Family Circus. It is fun, it is delicious, and it is one of those events that makes you glad you live in a community that knows how to celebrate the simple things in life.
